Graduate Certificate in Nuclear Science, Technology and Policy

Members of the Nuclear Policy Project have developed a graduate certificate in Nuclear Science, Technology, and Policy (NSTP) . The certificate builds on Virginia Tech's strengths in training professionals able to integrate technical competency and policy expertise. Rather than bracket issues of safety and security, the certificate is designed to bridge these artificially separated spheres of expertise by exposing students interested in international relations to the material aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle, but also by familiarizing engineering students with the political and diplomatic implications of technical choices.
